Born on the vibrant island of Puerto Rico and nurtured in a ministerial household, Nimsy was raised by her parents, Reverend Angel Lopez and Missionary Pura Maldonado, instilling in her a deep faith in God and a profound passion for worshipping through music.

Her journey led her to live in missions in the Republic of Haiti for four years, where she began her ministerial development at a remarkably young age. Married to Evangelist Micky Mulero, an impassioned preacher of the word, they co-lead the international Evangelistic and Missionary Ministry, "Bajo el Estruendo del Espiritu Inc." Their ministry has flourished both within and outside her home country, earning the affection and respect of people through their musical productions and Nimsy's uniquely anointed way of ministering the Word through song.
